Winter
Winter in the prairies conjures wonderment with its blank canvas of snow, untold millions of snowflakes, swirling and fluttering, coming to rest in a twinkling blanket of white. Tree trunks and branches exposed, their stately architecture laid bare, creatures great and small huddled for warmth, the end of what was, and the promise of a fresh start.
Christmas
Brimming with love, joy, fun, merriment and gratitude, this is the time of year when kindness and goodwill shine, when we trim the tree and deck the halls and believe in the magic of the season. As an honorary member of the Claus clan (or more likely long lost relative!) I can’t help but smile when I think about Christmas. It’s truly the most wonderful time of the year. – CC

Watching the earth awaken each year takes my breath away! Bright, cheerful flowers emerge from the frozen ground to say, “hello – did you miss me?” Spring is so full of possibilities and promise, it may just be my favourite time of year. The eager anticipation of greenhouse-hopping, planting new seeds and watching them grow never wanes. -CC

Summer is a season of pleasure and abundance. We embrace the outdoors like an old friend and soak up every opportunity to watch nature and her gardens come into full splendour with wanton exhuberance. A time when merriment and delight can meet and mingle from early dawn late into the evening.

The crisp morning air, dew soaked lawn, waning sunlight drifting across the wheat fields. Autumn is bounty of beauty and a time to harvest, gather and find ways to bring the outdoors into our cozy homes.
