The Opportunity
As Administrative & Personal Assistant, you’ll provide administrative, organizational, and personal support that helps keep both Cory Christopher and the business running smoothly.
You’ll assist with calendar management, meeting coordination, communications, travel arrangements, project administration, office organization, and the day-to-day responsibilities that keep our studio operating efficiently.
Working closely with Cory Christopher, you’ll gain a unique behind-the-scenes perspective into the leadership of a growing luxury event and design studio while supporting exciting projects and learning the inner workings of the business.

What You’ll Do
Project Support
- Provide administrative support for weddings, events, and seasonal installations.
- Help coordinate meetings, schedules, and internal communications.
- Assist with vendor communications and project documentation.
- Support planning for company meetings, team initiatives, and special projects.
Business & Office Support
- Assist with project administration and internal workflows.
- Prepare client documents, presentations, and project materials.
- Maintain organized digital filing systems and company documentation.
- Coordinate office supplies and day-to-day administrative needs.
- Assist with expense tracking, bookkeeping preparation, and administrative reporting.
- Support the ongoing organization and improvement of office systems and administrative processes.
Administrative Support
- Manage Cory Christopher’s calendar, appointments, and meeting schedule.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and itineraries.
- Assist with inbox organization and professional correspondence.
- Prepare meeting materials, presentations, proposals, and documents.
- Track action items and help organize daily priorities.
- Help ensure schedules and commitments stay on track.
Personal Assistant
- Assist with personal scheduling, appointments, errands, reservations, and travel planning.
- Coordinate personal administrative tasks and time-sensitive requests.
- Help create greater balance by managing day-to-day responsibilities with professionalism anddiscretion.
- Maintain complete confidentiality regarding all personal and business matters.
Professional Standards
- Represent Cory Christopher Design with professionalism while working alongside clients, venues, vendors, and project partners.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces in both the studio and on-site.
- Foster a collaborative environment while consistently delivering exceptional workmanship and supporting fellow professionals.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in an administrative, office administration, customer service, projectcoordination, or similar professional role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Canva, and cloud-based business platforms.
- A valid Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
Candidates MUST be willing and able to:
- Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and peak seasonal periods.
- Travel to project locations throughout Alberta, with occasional opportunities to travel beyond the province.
- Stand, crouch, bend and work on their feet for long periods of time
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Possess excellent spoken and written English and general communication skills
- Maintain a professional appearance while representing the Cory Christopher brand.
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (the nature of event prep and installation means that a single shift may be split over multiple locations).
